IntelliView announces Pipeline Leak Detection and Intrusion Security pilot program with TC Energy (TransCanada Corporation)
CALGARY, Alberta, January 27, 2015 – IntelliView Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the commencement of a program with TransCanada Corporation that will demonstrate IntelliView’s automated fluid leak detection system at a selected pump station in Canada. The site will also incorporate intrusion detection using IntelliView proprietary thermal cameras and suite of security analytics. The installation is partly funded by the Alberta Innovates – Technology Futures Product Demonstration Program, under which IntelliView was the recipient of an award.

IntelliView’s leak detection system is based on the use of thermal cameras and advanced analytics to detect small leaks of a wide range of fluid products in above ground pipeline applications. The system is designed to detect and qualify a potential leak in seconds, send a picture and a real-time video clip of the area to a control centre for visual verification within one minute of the event, and enables remote live feed or video access.
